The Value of Hard Work
I can not over emphasize the value of hard work to success in any endeavor. Former New York govenor and presidential candidate Mario Cuomo had this to say:
“I watched a small man with thick calluses on both hands work 15 and 16 hours a day. I saw him once literally bleed from the bottoms of his feet, a man who came here uneducated, alone, unable to speak the language, who taught me all I needed to know about faith and hard work by the simple eloquence of his example.”

Get a Niche
Niche marketing is when you find a smaller segment within a larger market and concentrate on it. An exception to this rule is when you find an underserved market and create your own niche. This should be your first step – find something you are passionate about and let this be the source of your first niche.
Stay away from certain oversaturated markets like “Internet Marketing Advice/Training” and sub categories such as “Affiliate Marketing Advice/Training”, “PPC Training/Software”, etc. Most of this advice is available for free and there is a glut of would be gurus and experts.
In this article I want to introduce you to a free tool that is readily available that will enable you to find your first niche. The tool I am referring to is the Google SK Tool. I have included several videos to help get you started.
Remember, you first objective is just to find one niche that you can focus on to make money.
Remember that the two keys to success in affiliate marketing are the right mindset and hard work. On this website, and through our newsletters, we will help you to establish the right mindset, which will include the right frame of mind plus the knowledge required to establish an affiliate business, but the hard work is the part of the equation that only you can supply.
